Room Air Monitor setup guide
Power it on
Plug the Room Monitor into the wall using the included USB-C cable and adapter. When it’s ready, the light will turn solid blue—that means it’s waiting to connect!
Pick a spot and assign it
Find the customer's home by searching their email.
If they already have HAVEN devices, you can add this Room Monitor to their existing home or zone. Otherwise, create a new home or zone.
Assign the Room Monitor to a specific room.
Connect to WiFi

Turn on Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.

Connecting one Room Monitor? The light will start pulsing blue and should connect automatically.

Connecting more than one? Select one at a time—its light will start pulsing blue.

Pick the WiFi network from the list. Make sure you select a 2.4GHz network.

Type in the password
(If you don’t see the network, tap "Custom" to enter it manually).

Once connected, the light will pulse white, then turn:

Green = All readings are Good ✅

Yellow = One or more readings are Fair ⚠️

Red = One or more readings are Poor ❌

⚠️ Wrong WiFi password?
The light will turn orange, and the app will ask you to try again.
Set up automations
If the Room Monitor is in a zone with a HAVEN Controller, you’ll see the Automations page to set up rules.
You can use ONE indoor condition (PM2.5, tVOC, CO2, etc.) per rule and as many outdoor conditions (outdoor temperature, AQI, etc.) as you want . These are great for making ventilation safe.

⚠️ LASER WARNING
The PM sensor used in this product is classified as a Class 1 laser product according to IEC 60825-1:2014 and DIN EN 60825-1:2022 standards. It is safe to operate without additional precautions.
Do not open the sensor package for servicing. Do not operate the sensor package when damaged. Failure to follow this warning may result in direct exposure to the invisible Class 3R laser source and permanent eye damage.
