Why can't I install HAVEN myself?

Many of us at HAVEN are avid do-it-yourselfers, but the HAVEN product range is not something we suggest anyone installs without proper training.

It has been designed as a pro-grade product range. You may ask yourself, why did they decide this?

Your central air system is like the circulatory system of your home, and it is also one of the most expensive pieces of equipment in your house. Its purposes are to heat, cool, and circulate the air 24/7/365, hopefully for 10+ years. If it's not cared for properly, you can end up with an underperforming or damaged system that needs to be repaired or replaced at a high cost.

Only certified HVAC technicians have the training and experience to spot problems with your existing system and ensure that the HAVEN equipment is installed properly.

Both the Central Air Monitor and Central Air Controller require your existing system to be modified. This modification - though quick and reversible - involves special training to guarantee that it's done properly the first time. On top of their wealth of knowledge, HVAC professionals require calibrated instruments and specialist tools to accurately assess your home's forced-air system for HAVEN suitability.

We've established that HVAC professionals are the best folks to work on your forced air system and install the HAVEN product range. To further ensure only those with the requisite IAQ knowledge gain access to our products we have created education modules and assessments. Contractors who successfully complete our training will become HAVEN Certified Professionals.
